Cellulose is 85% recycled newsprint and paper fibers, making it the insulation with the lowest embodied energy, and the one with the highest amount of recycled content.

Cellulose takes less energy to produce than any other insulation product. It is treated for fire resistance and spray applied with moisture; completely filling cavities and crevices in new wall construction.

Cellulose reduces sound waves from passing through walls and between floor levels, making it most suitable for acoustical areas, media rooms, game rooms and powder rooms.

This insulation also provides a significant reduction in the flow of heat and air infiltration through the wall cavity. Reducing air filtration reduces energy demand and the cost to heat and cool your home.


The waste created during the installation process is fully recovered and reused, leaving virtually no excess material to return to the waste stream.
